Climbing into the mountains approaching Flagstaff, AZ the temperature dropped to 66 F as we passed in and out of brief rain showers. Flagstaff is above 6,500 ft elev

Two hours later coming down off the mountain from Flagstaff, AZ and into Phoenix AZ at 1200 elevation the temperature had soared well above 100 F for the second time today.
