RROC Texas Member John Alkire and his 1928 PI Springfield invited the Houston Area Members to participate in the Saturday March 15th open house at The 1940 Air Terminal Museum at William P. Hobby Airport.

This terminal was Houston's original airport terminal and was the center of air transport during the 40s and 50s. It was built in the art deco style and retains many of these features and unique friezes today. If you have an interest in early commercial aviation the museum is just your ticket to yesteryear air travel and the luxury it offered. The terminal is undergoing extensive interior restoration and it is expected to be fully completed within the next several years. It is open to the public every 3rd Saturday of the month.
