Sneed Adams > This Rolls-Royce (RR) Chassis No. is 88WR delivered from RR to Barker (coach body builder) in Jan 1929. Thus the car is a 1929 RR Phantom I (one). This PI 88WR was ordered by an Austrian Baron, by the name of Sisinio von Pretis-Cagnodo. He was a Minister and Freiherr (a local administrator). The Baron cancelled his order because on April 9th 1929, the car was bought by William Mellersh-Jackson (UK)

Sneed Adams > On July 4, 1934 the car was sold to W.T.Dunbar & Sons (Funeral Directors) in Edinburgh, Scotland for 600 English Pounds. This company still exist in the same location today. Sneed Adams > The car was shipped to Florida in the USA in 1966. I do know that Mr. Sam Campbell of Abingdon, Virginia had the car in his possession between 1971 and 1991. There is currently a Campbell Funeral home in Abingdon, Virginia located at 250 East Main Street, Abingdon, VA 24210, 540-628-2131. This is the same address listed in the archives of the Rolls-Royce Owners' Club as the address of Mr Campbell the owner. In 2008 it was "found" in the garage of the Museum of Funeral History in Houston, TX
